Multicultural Post-Doctoral Fellow, Department of Philosophy: University of Alaska Anchorage
The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is pleased to offer a three-year Multicultural Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Philosophy (https://www.uaa.alaska.edu/academics/college-of-arts-and-sciences/departments/philosophy), beginning January, 2019. The Department of Philosophy’s Multicultural Postdoctoral fellow should be a specialist in Alaska Native or other indigenous worldviews as related to philosophy/religion/spirituality of the Americas with a Ph.D. in Native American Studies, American Indian Studies, Indigenous Studies, Religious Studies, Philosophy or a closely allied field. The ideal applicant would have a concentration in any of the following areas: indigenous frameworks and epistemologies, world philosophies and religions, comparative religions/intersecting spiritualities, Indigenous or comparative ethics, or post-colonial studies.
