Gift Designation

NAISA uses donations to support registration and travel costs for members who need assistance to attend the annual meeting, especially students (graduate and undergraduate) and members of Indigenous communities who are not affiliated with an educational institution, especially those travelling across international boundaries.

The Abya Yala Fund makes possible travel support for indigenous scholars residing in Latin America. Donations offset costs associated with travelling to the annual NAISA meeting such as registration fees, transportation costs, and/or lodging.

The Abya Yala Working Group is dedicated to bridging Native South and NAISA by facilitating travel support, logistics, and translations for Abya Yala scholars, and proposing a future NAISA meeting in Latin America.
