South Dakota State University is launching the Wokini Initiative an exciting new initiative designed to provide greater access and opportunities for the overarching student success of Native American students.  SDSU is in search of a dynamic, creative and collaborative leader with knowledge of Native American culture in general, and the Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota nations in particular to serve as the Wokini Program Director.  The Wokini Program Director will collaborate and coordinate with offices on student recruitment, retention, and success; fundraising; and programming to support South Dakota’s nine tribal nations in pursuit of higher education.
