Naisa

Native American and Indigenous Studies Association

The premiere international & interdisciplinary professional organization for scholars, graduate students, independent researchers, and community members interested in all aspects of Indigenous Studies.

After you sign up or renew your membership, please give the system 8-10 hours to transmit updated membership information from the U of Minnesota Press to naisa.org.

After that time, go to the home page and under Elections, click where it says "click here."

On the Elections page, ignore the pink error message ("Error: You are not authorized to view this resource.") and scroll down a bit.

Under LOGIN, you will see "Please click here if you are trying to login for the first time." and then please click on the link there.

You will be taken to a new page where you will see the message "Please enter the email address for your account. A verification code will be sent to you."

Do that and then copy the verification code from the email you received and then click on the link in that email.

When you get to the next page, paste in the verification code and enter your email address in the "Email Address/User Name" box.

You will now be able to choose a new password for your account. Do that and click the 'Submit' button.

You will see a message at the top saying: "Reset password successful. You may now login to the site."

Note: Your user name will be your email address.

If you still have problems, please feel free to contact us.
