Assistant Professor, Ethnic US-American Literature

The Department of English at Florida State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment, beginning in August 2018, specializing in (1) Native American literatures or (2) Asian-American literatures. We welcome candidates working in a variety of areas and comfortable with comparative or interdisciplinary approaches to US-American literatures, including intersectional approaches to other ethnic literatures. Ph.D. must be in hand by beginning of appointment. Applicants should have a record of publication, prospects of future publication and evidence of effective teaching. 2/2 teaching assignment, including one graduate course per year.
