NAISA Council

NAISA is governed by a constitution and by-laws. The first election of association officers took place in the spring of 2009. Current officers and Councilors are listed below, followed by former officers and Councilors. Biographies of all council members are available by clicking on their names, and email links are also listed so members can be in touch with officers. The Council meets twice a year face-to-face and electronically and on a monthly basis in between.

Native American and Indigenous Studies, the official journal of the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association, invites submissions of original manuscripts for publication in its inaugural volume. NAIS is a peer-reviewed journal published by the University of Minnesota Press.
