The School for Advanced Research is pleased to announce that Max Early is the 2015 Indigenous Writer-in-Residence Fellow. This fellowship is generously supported by the Lannan Foundation.
Max is from Laguna Pueblo and writes in both English and his native Keresan language. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of New Mexico and has been writing for eight years. While at SAR, he intends to work on his second book of poetry with the goal of helping to preserve the Keresan language and the cultures and traditions of his pueblo.
